She moves through life
like fish swimming in the water.
Not the tiny ones snapping to and fro.
Her movements are reminiscent of the Universe.
Its the great white
gliding
majestically.

Unmindful of the pettier ones;
the currrent of her passing
bullying them a bit.

Shepherding, scolding
Soothing, stimulating
A go between, a procurer.

And when the kids have grown and gone
she will glide slower and slower,
her great big heart
flooding the shores
with salty tears.

its beautiful and majestic
somebody had to speak for her and its you
And you did it with style and elegance.
i am glad you have understood life so well.
There is no good or bad when it comes to life.
a virus, a snake, or a harmless deer.
All forms of life have only two activities. survival and procreation.
All of them except us humans spend their entire life span only in those two activities. They all are within their rights to do anything to survive.

The imagery is vivid and simple, showing in a few lines an immense picture of life, as rauf said. Lovely job, yes elegant, the best word I can think of too. So glad you're writing.

Mystic,

The last stanza unfolds the universal love, the love of mother nature herself. Who else can flood the shore with the tears?

Beautiful..

does it? doesnt it? :)

and yet if one is only part of the whole, there is neither seperation nor joining.

like the drops that rise up high out of the ocean and fall back.

starry,
yes? there is so much you do, but still you feel the emptiness without your children, no?
Life without being able to give that nourishing love seems so empty.
